Vertical Data Unveils Combined $381 Million in AI Infrastructure Deals

Vertical Data 2 4

Two major back-to-back transactions span Western Europe and Canada, deploying next-generation NVIDIA infrastructure for a global AI developer and global cloud provider.

Vertical Data (OTCQB: VDTA) is positioned across the buildout —from financing and hardware to deployment and operations.

Vertical Data is entering a new phase of growth.

Within days, the AI infrastructure company announced two major transactions totaling roughly $381 million in value.

The first calls for a dedicated AI computing deployment in Western Europe for a major global AI developer – 1,024 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs representing approximately $192 million over five years.i

Less than a week later, Vertical Data announced that it had structured and arranged an AI infrastructure deployment in Canada with an estimated value of $189 million.

The project will use next-generation NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 infrastructure in support of a global cloud provider.

And they follow another $43 million AI infrastructure partnership announced by Vertical Data earlier this year with the one of the world’s largest encrypted messaging platforms – with more than 1 billion users.ii

That raises an obvious question: What is driving this sudden acceleration in deal flow?

The answer lies in the strategic model Vertical Data is building.

Rather than simply selling GPUs or renting out compute, Vertical Data is positioning itself across the infrastructure process, bringing together hardware, financing, data-center capacity and operating partners to get large-scale AI deployments off the ground.

That model is already taking shape across a growing infrastructure footprint.

A 20-megawatt development in downtown Chicago.iii A partnership spanning 40 data centers across Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Colombia. And a conversion pipeline management describes as 250 megawatts and growing.

As global demand for AI compute accelerates, Vertical Data (OTCQB: VDTA) is at the center of one of the largest buildouts in modern history.

The New National Infrastructure

Vertical Data Infrastructure 13

“In the end, what every single country will have to recognize is that (AI) is infrastructure, just as it’s water, roads, electricity, the internet. Every single country needs to build infrastructure so that you can support your own local economy.”iv

— Jensen Huang, Founder & CEO, NVIDIA, G20 Innovation Ministerial, September 2026

Governments around the world are making AI infrastructure – and the data sovereignty it provides – a growing priority for both policy and investment.

As AI becomes more deeply embedded in national economies, access to computing power is only part of the equation.

Where data resides, who controls the infrastructure and which legal jurisdiction governs it are becoming a matter of strategic importance.

Today, a large share of AI workloads runs through hyperscaler networks operated by U.S. companies such as Amazon, Microsoft and Google, or Chinese providers including Alibaba, Tencent and Baidu.v

For organizations handling sensitive data, that dependence can create security risks. The result is growing demand for AI infrastructure built within a customer’s own geographical borders.

Europe offers one of the clearest examples. The European Commission recently announced plans for up to seven AI gigafactories across Europe, committing €10 billion in public funding to help unlock another €20 billion in private investment.vi

The initiative comes as European providers account for only about 15% of Europe’s cloud market. For perspective, the three largest U.S. hyperscalers alone account for 70%.vii

Europe is hardly alone. MarketsandMarkets projects the global sovereign AI market will grow from approximately $40 billion in 2025 to $148 billion by 2032, representing a 20.6% CAGR.viii

Meeting that growing demand will require substantial investment from both public and private sectors.

Turning Capital Into a Competitive Edge

Vertical Data 2 5

Building AI infrastructure is enormously capital intensive.

Hardware, software, power infrastructure and ongoing maintenance can push the cost of AI-ready data-center capacity to approximately $10 million to $12 million per megawatt.

Vertical Data (OTCQB: VDTA) leverages GPU financing as its point of entry – helping governments, telecom providers and enterprises fund large-scale AI deployments without absorbing the entire upfront capital expenditure.

But financing is only the beginning.

Rather than leaving customers to coordinate separately with lenders, hardware suppliers, data-center operators and managed-service providers, Vertical Data is building an integrated model that can finance the deployment, source the GPUs, secure data-center capacity and support ongoing operations.

The result is a more streamlined path to operations, allowing customers to activate their compute clusters and begin generating revenue months sooner than through a traditional multi-vendor process.

Financing can then become the gateway to a much broader infrastructure relationship — creating opportunities to participate across hardware, infrastructure and managed services.

That end-to-end model is already driving a growing pipeline of transactions.

$192 Million to Deploy AI Infrastructure in Western Europe

Vertical Data Infrastructure 11

On September 15, 2026, Vertical Data (OTCQB: VDTA) announced a Letter of Intent with a major global AI developer.

The agreement calls for a dedicated cluster of 1,024 NVIDIA B300 Blackwell Ultra GPUs, housed across 128 HGX B300 servers, at an AI-ready data center in Western Europe.

The stated value: $192.1 million over five years.ix

Just as important as the size of the agreement is how it is structured. The deployment includes binding take-or-pay and deposit obligations, committing the customer to a fixed amount of computing capacity at a fixed price.

The fixed-rate structure also offers another advantage. GPU rental prices can fluctuate as new hardware enters the market and supply conditions change. A long-term fixed-price arrangement provides greater visibility into the economics of the deployment.

The infrastructure itself also reflects the sovereign-AI demand driving the broader market. The single-tenant cluster is designed for AI workloads within the European Economic Area, with dedicated hardware, physical and network isolation, multi-petabyte storage and 24/7 managed engineering support.

The result is dedicated AI infrastructure within a sovereign jurisdiction – on a faster timeline than a traditional deployment model.

Operations are expected to begin in Q1 2027.

A $189 Million AI Infrastructure Deal in Canada

Vertical Data Infrastructure 10

Just days after announcing its Western European agreement, Vertical Data unveiled another major AI infrastructure transaction — this time in Canada.

The company has structured and arranged a deployment supporting a global cloud provider, with an estimated infrastructure and procurement value of approximately $189 million.

The single-site deployment is expected to use next-generation NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 infrastructure, together with managed services, supporting a multi-year cloud services agreement between Vertical Data’s operating partner and the end customer.

And Vertical Data will serve as the lead structuring and infrastructure partner, coordinating the commercial, technical and financing requirements needed to bring the deployment together.

It is a direct example of the end-to-end model Vertical Data is building — bringing together compute, capital and operating partners to execute large-scale AI infrastructure projects.

$43 Million Deal Supporting A Leading Messaging Platform

Vertical Data Infrastructure 9

Earlier this year, Vertical Data (OTCQB: VDTA) announced a $43 million agreement supporting a large-scale AI infrastructure project.x

Through GPUFinancing.com, Vertical Data is financing the compute infrastructure behind a decentralized, privacy-focused AI network designed to support one of the world’s largest encrypted messaging platforms.

The potential reach is significant: the messaging platform serves more than one billion monthly active users.xi

The AI network is being developed as a privacy-focused alternative to centralized AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Gemini, using Trusted Execution Environments designed to protect data from access by outside parties.

From Financing Partner to Infrastructure Owner

On September 11, 2026, Vertical Data announced that its majority-owned Vertical Data Nordic AB had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire an existing industrial data-center site in Central Sweden.

The property currently has 4.5 megawatts of power capacity, with the company intending to pursue an expansion to as much as 100 megawatts.

The site benefits from access to renewable hydroelectric power, as much as 500 megawatts of available grid capacity, fiber connectivity and transportation infrastructure.xii

Sweden is just one piece of a much larger strategy. Vertical Data’s active pipeline now represents more than 250 megawatts of global data-center opportunities, focused on transforming existing industrial sites into institutional-grade AI data centers.

In Chicago, Vertical Data is advancing a planned 20-megawatt AI data center, targeted for completion by Q2 2027 and estimated by management to have a sale value of approximately $300 million.xiii

And in Latin America, the company has established a relationship with Ascenty, a joint venture between Digital Realty and Brookfield Infrastructure and a major data-center and connectivity platform in the region.

Ascenty operates or has under construction 40 data centers across Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Colombia, connected by approximately 4,000 kilometers of its own fiber-optic network.xiv

Through GPUFinancing.com, Vertical Data can help finance the compute. Through VerticalData.io, it can help manage the infrastructure. And through Vertical Edge, it can hold equity in the data centers it sources, develops, leases and manages.

That creates the potential for Vertical Data to participate across multiple layers of the same buildout.

A Team With Decades of Industry Experience

Vertical Data (OTCQB: VDTA) is led by industry insiders who have built, financed, and sold large-scale AI data center infrastructure at the highest levels.

The company’s Chief Technology Officer, Hamid Djam, spent more than two decades designing large-scale AI and analytics infrastructure, including senior AI and analytics architecture roles at Dell EMC, before founding his own AI consulting firm.

Board member Jaime Leverton  previously played a leading role at Hut 8 Mining Corp, one of the largest AI data center companies in North America, and before that led eStruxture, the biggest data center company in Canada.

CEO Deven Soni was an M&A specialist at Lazard and a member of Tech Private Equity teams at Goldman Sachs and Highland Capital Partners. He co-founded Wired Investors and Snowball Industries, leading multiple acquisitions and integrations, and served as founding COO of Tokens.com.

Head of Infrastructure Christopher Larsson joined in September 2026 after nearly seven years at Meta, where he held infrastructure program leadership across hyperscale new-build and retrofit initiatives in the United States, Scandinavia and elsewhere.xv

Advisor Marty Cicco ran data center investment banking at Merrill Lynch.

Operational Milestones Ahead

  • Catalyst #1: New Deal Announcements. Vertical Data has announced approximately $381 million across two major AI infrastructure transactions in Western Europe and Canada. The next milestone is execution – financing, procuring and deploying the infrastructure.
  • Catalyst #2: The Revenue Ramp. Vertical Data now has several major AI infrastructure projects moving toward deployment, with multiple operations expected to begin in the near term. As those projects come online, the company could begin seeing multiple revenue streams build.
  • Catalyst #3: Expanding the Data-Center Footprint. Vertical Data has entered into an agreement to acquire its Swedish data-center site, is advancing a planned 20-megawatt Chicago facility, and reports an active conversion pipeline representing more than 250 megawatts of global opportunities.

7 Reasons to Add Vertical Data (OTCQB: VDTA) To Your Watchlist

  1. The Sovereign Data Trend: A tightening web of data‑sovereignty laws across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America is pushing governments and critical‑industry enterprises away from traditional hyperscalers. VDTA is explicitly positioning itself as an AI‑infrastructure and GPU‑financing partner for those deployments.
  2. A $192 Million Take-or-Pay Commitment: A global AI developer has committed to a dedicated 1,024-GPU Blackwell Ultra cluster over a five-year term, with binding take-or-pay and deposit obligations, targeted for Q1 2027 service commencement.
  3. $189 Million Next-Generation AI Infrastructure Deal: Vertical Data has structured and arranged an AI infrastructure deployment in Canada with an estimated value of $189 million. The project is expected to utilizeNVIDIA GB300 NVL72 infrastructure in support of a global cloud provider.
  4. $43 Million Deal Supporting a Leading Decentralized Network: The world’s largest encrypted messaging platform, with more than one billion users, is building sovereign AI infrastructure that keeps its data off U.S. servers. The company helping to finance that hardware is Vertical Data.
  5. World‑Class Leadership: Vertical Data has assembled a team with backgrounds spanning some of the biggest names in technology, digital infrastructure and finance. Its leadership and advisors bring experience fromMeta, Hut 8, Dell EMC and Goldman Sachs.
  6. Financing As Competitive Edge: Vertical Data is using GPUFinancing.com as a gateway to larger opportunities, with its vertically integrated model streamlining hardware, deployment, managed infrastructure and data-center capacity under one platform.
  7. Early Mover in a Primarily Private Sector: Lambda, Nscale, FluidStack and other headline AI‑infrastructure names already carry multi‑billion‑dollar private valuations — and most focus on owning clusters and renting out GPU time. The bigger players are entirely inaccessible to the retail investor.

As the AI infrastructure landscape evolves, Vertical Data is focused on one part of that shift: helping finance and deploy compute capacity in markets where local control and capital access are central to the buildout.
